Batman: The Animated Series in HD

On July 6, DC announced that their upcoming streaming service, DC Universe, will be showing the first two seasons of Batman: The Animated Series.

We already knew Batman: The Animated Series would be heading to the service when it launches later this year, alongside a host of other DC shows and movies. I mentioned this announcement a week or two ago in a previous blog post. You're probably thinking, why the f*ck are you bringing it up again, right? I'll tell you why. Batman: The Animated Series will be in HD for the first time!


A new tweet from the official DC Universe account on Twitter officially confirmed that, for the first time ever, season 1 and season 2 of legendary cartoon will be available in HD.

The specifics of BTAS is still not clear. Will the show will be in standard 720p HD or 1080p HD or even 4K UHD? Or maybe this will be fans’ early access to see the show in crisp cleanliness before it store shelves later this year? Yet again, all we can do is wait...

Okay, let's talk about Preacher . If you haven't read the comics, you should and than check out the show. The show Preacher is an adaptation to the comics written by Garth Ennis and drawn by Steve Dillon. Its got it all, vampires, angels, demons, gods, various other supernatural beings, and more. Certain moments in the show are straight from the comics. Preacher is a mixture of soul splitting, corpse reviving, and blood guzzling goodness. Since Preacher is in season 3, let's recap...my way. The Last Of Us Part 2

Sony's E3 games last week have been insane, but the one game that stood out, to  me at least , was and still is Naughty Dog's The Last of Us Part 2.  This game has been enigmatic. The gameplay shows us a much older Ellie, killing her way through a very detailed and realistic level. My favorite part has to be when Ellie stabs the cult member in the head from under the car. Insane! Definitely a new way to use stealth and to interact with the environment, and I'm liking that. In The Last of Us Part 2 trailer , there's still a lot more questions than answers. Like, no release date, really? Also there's no Joel, come on. What happened with Ellie's mom? And who exactly are the coat wearing cult Ellie's fighting? Those people are nuts, they sure like to hang and disembowel people. Plus we've yet to see a clicker, what the hell?
